ABOUT ALESSANDRA's LAW

Currently, we are working collaboratively with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) to lobby for our legislative bill called Alessandra's Law. This bill is sponsored by New Jersey Assemblyman Erik Peterson. The bill focuses on having Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) present at large gatherings to provide medical assistance if needed. For gatherings smaller than 1000 people, the law would require that venues notify patrons of the ability to hire EMTs. For events larger than 1000 people, Alessandra's Law would mandate EMTs attend such events. For the safety of our golf outing and banquet guests, EMTs will be present during the entire event to provide emergent medical care if needed.
